WHO WE ARE...
- The Puget Sound Car Wash Association is a regional, professional association of car wash owners. We’re a leader in the effort to protect streams, lakes, and the Puget Sound from pollution caused by washing cars and trucks. The Association was founded in 1993.
- The PSCWA’s Car Wash Fundraiser, provides nonprofits with an alternative to parking lot car washes through sales of tickets good at our members’ washes. Last year, we sold 30,000 tickets.
- We run busboard campaigns, such as the one on the previous page, which was seen 43 million times by people in the Puget Sound Region.
- The Puget Sound Car Wash Association works with the Governor’s taskforce to clean up the Puget Sound and participates in meetings regarding enforcement of the municipal stormwater permit.
- The Puget Sound Car Wash Association was awarded the International Carwash Association's 2007 Community Service Leadership Award.
- The Puget Sound Car Wash Association participates, by invitation, in county and city community events, as well as in PTA, Little League, and Boys & Girls Club expos.
- We hold two or more membership meetings each year, providing our members with an opportunity to discuss industry issues and Association business.
- We offer a crime hotline and work with local law enforcement to catch those committing crimes against our members’ washes.
- Our members enjoy an annual social event.
